Fall 2014 Newsletter Holiday schedule

Classic Rhythms Piano Studio

Fall Newsletter 2014

Happy Fall to everyone!!!

This is my favorite time of year, so I hope you are all enjoying the cooler weather and looking forward to the holiday time.

Any student wishing to learn Christmas music for the season, please bring any music you have currently and/or let me know if you need new Christmas music.

Just a note regarding practice: The most important time for practice is the evening of your lesson or certainly the two-three days following. Everything you have learned in your lesson time is the most fresh on your mind, so those first several days of practice are extremely important.

The studio schedule for the upcoming season is as follows:

November 2014

no lessons the last week – November 24th -28th

Classes resume Monday, December 1st

December 2014

no lessons – December 22nd – January 2nd

Classes resume Monday, January 5th, 2015

Remember, if someone you have recommended, starts taking piano lessons, starting their second month you will receive your month FREE.

As always, let me know if you have any questions.

Just a few items of interest I need to let everyone know about:

Our web site www.classicrhythms.com has been updated recently. It now has more interactive functionality. Students and parents will be able to communicate with me and with each other through blogging. Please visit the site and set up a log in for you and your student. If students have questions between lessons, this will be a cool place to go.

I think we can also include video/pictures. So a student could send me a photo of a portion of music they are having trouble with and I will be able to respond back. I believe we will be able to have some fun with it. I am still learning the functions so bear with me as I work on that.

Newsletters will continue to be given out as hard copies at your lessons, however you will also be able to see them on the web site in case you misplace yours.

Upcoming Spring Recital:

I am getting very excited about our recital. It will be at New Life Baptist Church. This will be a great place for it and I look forward to the students enjoying the beautiful instrument to play. The address is:  1507 Gravel Hill Road
                                                                                    Columbia, TN  38401

I originally thought we would shoot for April, but a few students need a little more time to prepare so the date is set for Saturday, May 10th @ 3:00pm.

There will be plenty of space so students may invite anyone to come and enjoy their performance.

Welcome Students & Parents

Our newly renivated web page is now more interactive. You can create a login and blog along with me, to me, etc. This will be a terrific way for students to contact me between lessons regarding music questions and also for parents that would like to blog.

We are currently making plans for our upcoming Srping recital. Based on our responses, it looks like it may be May 10th at 3PM. Please let me know soon if that date conflicts with anyone. The location will be at New Life Baptist Church. This will be a perfect and beautiful location with plenty of room and a nice instrument for the students to experience as well. The address for the church is:

1507 Gravel Hill Road
Columbia, TN  38401

This is closer to Spring Hill than the address seems. Let me know if you will need directions.

I look forward to posts on this blog so enjoy.

Thanks,

Cindy Kinnard

A Website Remodeled

Hello from our Classic Rhythms Piano Studio webmaster.

This is a totally remodeled website and we are currently making numerous adjustments and enhancements.  During the next few weeks in particular you will most likely see items added or moved or changed altogether. Ultimately once we get things organized students of Classic Rhythms Studio will have the opportunity to create an account that will allow for more direct interaction with your instructor when not in session.

Just keep an eye out for changes in the coming days and weeks.
